I don't think it'll be a smashing success, but I do think it will certainly hold OK to comparable programming in the same time slot. (which isn't much).
From CBS's point of view, its almost free money. EXC will pretty much promote itself, CBS will give a little bit of run for TV ads announcing the card, but EXC / Showtime will be producing the show and that basically mean that CBS gets to show it without spending a lot of $$$. Advertisers will buy time, why not, the best pitch market is men 18-35.
Unless CBS is looking for this do somehow do NASCAR ratings, then it shouldn't be an issue. It'll rate better than IFL, and will compare to UFNs on Spike, and if it does that, they should be able to call it successful.
