Afterall, Hendo never got knockedout in is career and I would have given the edge on ground game to Henderson. Therefore, if you say Hendo maybe could have won the fight if he was more aggressive, I think it is more fair to say Hendo was expecting a long fight and winning the round was important to him. Silva never got KOed in his career either so the chance of this fight going the distance was pretty good.
When I say it wasn't a decisive round, I mean he wasn't dangerous or impressive in it though you have to give him the nod.

Yea Hendo does seem to taper off after the first few rounds. But he really does need to be more agressive, I think he would be more succesful that way. He's said in a few interviews when asked about the Jackson fight that he should have been more agressive and hes already said the same thing about this one in the post fight interview.

I am not saying it's not effective or that some guys do it better than others, but you don't get a black belt in throwing elbows on the ground.

Of course getting into position and posturing up is a skill I never said it wasn't, again you must learn to comprehend words better.
You misinterpret everything I say.
thats makes no sense whatsoever.
thats like saying you dont get a black belt in passing guard or throwing standing punches. i say everything is a skill in mma. and for the record i didn't see anything wrong with hendo covering his mouth...its a legit technique i've seen used by many different fighters. its a dirty trick, but theres no rule against it so its fair game imo. i'd do it if i was in the cage with someone as dangerous as silva. anyways...hate to burst your bubble, but throwing elbows on the ground is a skill. maybe anyone can do it, but it takes skill to do it well...period.
