Thiago Alves definitely deserves to be in the top 10 over Marcus Davis

Thiago is setting up shop on guys way tougher then the softballs Davis has been getting, and when he beats Karos ass he'll get some fucking respect.

i agree he hasn't fought anyone in the top 15 maybe even 20 but davis wants to get bigger fights and i say give the man what he wants, theres no reason why karo isnt taking on fitch that should be the matchup for number spot but if karo wants to pussy out i say give someone who wants to fight anyone the chance

Marcus Davis? I love this guy, but he is making a living out of beating subpar talent. And he is selling tickets and getting quite a following doing it. Why would the UFC mess that formula up by having him get owned in a fight against Sanchez or Koscheck (much less fitch)? They are much better off letting Davis hang around the bottom of the top 10 making highlights and selling stories than to have all that wiped away with an inevitable loss to one of the many blankets in the division.

All this is pointless - in about 20 months they will all be looking to find a new weightclass to fight in. Jake Shields will arrive in UFC and will walk through them all, and will likely chase the top ones (GSP) down no matter what division they fight in.

Jake who?? You mean that overrated guy that fights in elite X who calls everyone out?? He had his chance to sign with the UFC and prove that he belongs as an elite WW but he didnt. When the UFC comes a calling he will turn his head cause he is scared.

WOW i cant wait for those 20 months to come. Let me tell you thats right around the corner.

i have mad respect for Fitch, just for saying this shit, BTW.

not many guys say shit like that. everyone wants the belt, but its for the fame, or the money, or the title. Fitch just wants to compete.

Yo. Half of those wins were against guys with losing records. I think Davis is good, just not a top 10. I definitely think that he needs to fight some better talent but he is not in Fitch's league. He's supposed to be fighting a top 10 at UFC 85 so maybe then we'll see if he's top 10.
