I agree with alot of what has been said already. I'm very glad to see that this is emerging as a much more positive thing than we all thought. I'll tell you now I was EXTREMELY disappointed when I initially heard of his departure. But with the opportunity for him to redeem himself and return to the UFC... i like it alot.
This DREAMS organization sounds really sweet, man. Got a good talent pool and with the GPs coming up - sounds very exciting. I don't want to speculate too much until I see Mirko fight again. But best of luck to him and I know I'd love to see some dominating fights and a great return back to the UFC. We all know he has the tools.. but does he want it? I guess we'll find out starting March 15 =D

awesome read. thanks a lot.
I think this will be great for Mirko's career. It's great that the UFC will welcome Mirko back after a few wins, but that's the thing. He MUST win. Hopefully he will go to Japan and kick the heads off some folks, eventually earn a fight with Fedor and drop him with a lhk ala CC vs Aleksander, and then return to the UFC to crush Big Nog, the UNDISPUTED UFC champion, in the biggest "super fight" to date.
well, that's what I'm hoping for at least..

Agreed..
and I will say this.. if Cro Cop loses any fights in Japan.. unless it is against a top fighter.. maybe his body just doesn't have it anymore, whether he wants it or not...

LOL,That accually COULD happen,
M1 is a joke, im still pissed that they can change the rules whenever they want, just to make Fedor winning a higher posibility. For all we know by the time Fedor vs Randy happens it'll be a "no ground game" match, pathetic

As it is now, I think that M1 would have no interest in Fedor fighting CC. Fedor might very well lose to CC, and if Fedor lost to a guy who did badly in the UFC, M1 is done. Period. Frankly M1 cant take that kind of risk no matter what CC wants.

as much i rate cro cop i honestly think his past his best and will never recapture his best fighting form. by going now he in my opinion ends his career with a few wins and a fight with fedor which isnt a bad thing for him at all,but to expect cro cop to return to his 2005 self i think is very unlikely but i sincerly hope im wrong.

i think this fight will happen for m-1 to challenge ufc at some point there going to have to stage fights that rival the hype and imagination that the ufc does and there options on this front are very limited with the fighters they have, in fact i think m-1 have delibrately picked cro cop as the one for fedor to fight as he has a draw and fan base that will provide m-1 with exposure they need to build there brand.
