UFC MatchMaker (Who should the UFC 81 guys fight next?)
((All UFC 81 fights in bold and all the winners of those fights in red.))
Tim Sylvia vs. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira
Antonio Rodrigo Nogueria vs. Werdum- This isn't the matchup that I would've made if I was Silva, but it's already been made and there's nothing we can do about it. At least it should be an exciting fight.
Tim Sylvia vs. loser of Kongo/Herring- It would be a decent standup fight and would be exciting to watch.
Brock Lesnar vs. Frank Mir
Frank Mir vs. winner of Kongo/Herring- This would be a fight that Mir would have a clear advantage on the ground, while having a clear disadvantage on the feet. I think it'd make for an interesting matchup and I think it'd set Mir up to become the number one contender for the HW crown.
Brock Lesnar vs. Mario Neto- This would just be to make Brock look good. After this fight, I'd start making him fight top competition once again.
Jeremy Horn vs. Nate Marquardt
Nate Marquardt vs. Ricardo Almeida II- Two great submission experts going at it. I think this would be a great technical fight.
Jeremy Horn vs. Marvin Eastman- Marvin just defeated Terry Martin, so he has a little momentum going for him. I say the UFC Should match him up with Horn. If he pulls out the upset, than the UFC can start hyping him up a little bit and than start using him as a gatekeeper. If Horn wins, than he's back on track and you can start using him to set up some decent matchups once again.
Tyson Griffin vs. Gleison Tibau
Tyson Griffin vs. Nate Diaz- Nate asked for this fight, so why not give him want he wants? It's like they say "Be careful what you wish for, because it might become true." I think this is a fight that'd make Tyson Griffin look great and would set him up for a title shot, sometime down the road.
Gleison Tibau vs. loser of Kenflo/Lauzon- This would be an exciting fight. The loser would be down two fights and would have a long way to go to get back on top, while the winner would be ready to jump right back into some exciting fights, in this very stacked division.
Marvin Eastman vs. Terry Martin
Marvin Eastman vs. Jeremy Horn- See Jeremy Horn.
Terry Martin vs. Kendall Grove- Both fighters are coming off consecutive losses. This fight would be do or die for both men. Plus since both have questionable chins, this fight would most likely end by knockout. I think it'd be an exciting fight and one I'd like to watch.
Ricardo Almeida vs. Rob Yundt
Ricardo Almeida vs. Nate Marquardt - See Nate Marquardt
Rob Yundt vs. Ryan Jensen- This is a fight you could throw on the prelims, sometime in the near future, in oder to get an accurate evaluation of the two fighters. The loser of this fight would most likely be out of the UFC.
Tim Boetsch vs. David Heath
Tim Boetsch vs. Houston Alexander(regardless of the outcome of his next fight.)- This would be an exciting standup fight that would most likely end by KO.
David Heath vs. loser of Bonnar/Hamil- This would be a fight to put either Bonnar or Hamil back on the right track and make them look good. If Heath somehow wins the fight though, than you can just feed him to someone else.
Rob Emerson vs. Keita Nakamura
Rob Emerson vs. Melvin Guillard II- This would be an exciting fight and would serve as a good measuring stick for both fighters. Last time these two fought in went to a split decision, so hopefully a rematch would lead to an outcome that's a little more clearer on who the better fighter really is.
Keita Nakamura vs. Dokonjonosuke Mishima- I think this would be a good technical battle, between two fighters with very good ground skills. I think the winner of this fight would stay with the UFC, while the loser has to go back and work his way back up to fighting in the big show.
Chris Lytle vs. Kyle Bradley
Chris Lytle vs. Josh Burkman- This would be an interesting fight. Both fighters are somewhat similar, but they both have their differences as well, so I think it'd be a good fight and would set the winner up for better things to come.
Kyle Bradley vs. Joe Stevenson- Joe needs an easy rebound win. Something to give him back some of his lost confidence and something to make him look like a contender once again in the fans eyes. That's why the UFC should feed Kyle Bradley to him.

Tim Sylvia vs. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira
Nog is already set to fight Werdum, so moot point, but I'd actually like to see Tim fight Brock next. At least Brock won't have to worry about submissions.
Brock Lesnar vs. Frank Mir
Frank Mir vs. Vera in a rematch. I think things would be quite different this time.
Brock Lesnar vs. See above.
Jeremy Horn vs. Nate Marquardt
Nate Marquardt vs. Yushin. Nate is a ground specialist who also heavily relies on his strength advantage. He won't have that advantage over Okami.
Jeremy Horn vs. Terry Martin. Just because.
Tyson Griffin vs. Gleison Tibau
Tyson Griffin vs. Nate Diaz- Just to put an end to Diaz calling him out every chance he gets.
Gleison Tibau vs. Cole Miller.
Marvin Eastman vs. Terry Martin
Marvin Eastman vs. Kendall Grove- Kendall would seem to have the advantage in everything in this one, but Eastman could still get a KO.
Terry Martin (See Horn)
Ricardo Almeida vs. Rob Yundt
Ricardo Almeida vs. Thales Leites. I think this would be an AWESOME match.
Rob Yundt vs. someone in the WEC.
Tim Boetsch vs. David Heath
Tim Boetsch vs. Soku (Why not?)
David Heath vs. Bonnar -- I think this would be a slugfest.
Chris Lytle vs. Kyle Bradley
Chris Lytle vs. Josh Burkman- Lytle's new aggressive approach looks great. I'd see him TKOing Burkman early.

Almeida vs. Belcher and Thales vs. Nate (still think these fights should happen before Almeida and Nate fight again)
Nate Diaz vs. Tyson Griffin
Tibau vs. Jeremy Stephens
Brock Lesnar vs. Tom Murphy or Jake O'Brien
Frank Mir vs. Eddie Sanchez or Assuerio Silva (give Mir one more win before giving him a really tough guy) but i wouldn't be surprised to see Mir vs. Gonzaga
Sylvia vs. Kongo (whether he beats Herring or not)
Boetsch vs. Eric Shafer and David Heath out of the UFC...
Marvin Eastman vs. Jorge Rivera
Terry Martin should work on losing more weight and drop to 170 IMO, he could do it...
Lytle vs. Burkman (yeah i like that idea )

I think Mir vs. Kongo/Herring makes a lot of sense. If he wins, that, it means he is borderline top 10 again. If Kongo or Herring wins, it is the same for them

Gonzaga just lost to Werdum. No way in hell does he deserve a title shot at this point in time.

No title shot, but odds are Serra won't be a champ for long... If serra wins it will wait. If he loses it could be in the near future.
But it honestly slipped my mind Serra had the belt when I wrote.
