Já está tudo acertado para junho e eu espero fazer uma grande luta e representar bem a minha nova equipe, a Universidade da Luta (UDL)”, disse Shogun, que espera vingar o amigo Wanderlei Silva, que foi derrotado por Liddell no UFC 79.

“Com certeza vou vingar o Wanderlei”, afirmou o atleta, que espera fazer um intercambio com Wanderlei para a luta. “Ele esteve de passagem por Curitiba muito rápido e foi para Natal, mas ele me ligou e a gente conversou bastante. Vamos fazer um intercambio sim, mas não sei quando isso irá acontecer. Tudo depende da estratégia que a minha equipe vai montar para essa luta”, explicou Shogun, que já andou analisando o jogo do americano.

“Ele tem um Boxe e um Wrestling muito bom. O jogo do Liddell é mais em pé, então às vezes pode ser um erro ficar tentando colocá-lo para baixo, pois isso exige muita força. Ainda vou traçar a melhor tática com o Alejo Morales, com o meu irmão e com o resto da equipe, mas posso trocar com ele sem problemas e vencer essa luta em pé”

But I can strike with Liddell and beat him there, no problem.

Shogun say's that he can strike with Liddell and beat him there, this is definitely a slugfest fight again...i think this would be more bloodier than Wandy/Liddell match.

well thats nice to say but u cant avenge someone elses loss. you can only avenge your own losses. and if hes gonna take on chuck he better come much improved then vs forrest.

i giva the match to shogun, hes younger and in better shape than chuck. but im wondering where keith jardine is in all this? he beat chuck and nobody has heard from him since, i think hes kinda getting the shaft. he should be fighting these big names, not chuck.

even though i think this a good fight, i still dont think shogun should fight liddell right now.. give him an easier fight like houston, eastman or bispin to get his confidence up and than go for chuck..
