FIGHTHYPE \\ CONTENT
wouldn't let me copy and paste but I think if Edgar keeps this on the feet he would beat down Maynard.

Both are solid Wrestlers with average striking. Would be an excellent fight.

there's nothing like calling out a guy who is accomplished in the division, when you yourself are not

i wouldnt put my money on it, but i think Maynard could beat Frankie. Frankie is probably a better grappler and his hands are better...but Gray's hands are heavier and he's got a good chin. Tyson Griffin (or anyone else for that matter) didnt really test Frankie's chin. Frankie couldnt really do much to Spencer Fischer on the ground, so i doubt he'd do much to Gray, who is a much better wrestler. it would be closer then most people would think...but id go with Frankie by Decision.

Why would Maynard deserve this? Edgar is an established fighter. Edgar has nothing to gain and Maynard has nothing to lose. This match up would make no sense. Also, there is no way Maynard would beat Edgar. They're very similar but Edgar would school Maynard in almost all departments. Edgar is just a better fighter and I would rank him as #2 behind BJ in the LW division. I dont see him losing at all.

Maynard doesn't desrve this. He's just using his mouth to try and advance his career.
