I felt if he didn’t want to fight I could at least throw some kicks and some other crazy stuff to show I was there to fight or maybe it would get him to engage… I guess I was wrong

I really dont agree w/ Burkman's views on the fight but I do think that the new weight cut and the long layoff really effected Swick's game.

Burkmans a punk who's crying in public because he lost a decision. He did fuck all to really ensure any kind of decision victory and got exactly what he deserves....nothing.

It was a poor fight from both of them and at least Swick has come out and apologised for the lack luster performance, Burk seems to think it was some kind of epic battle where he dominated his "scared" opponent.

Delusion must be wonderful.

I thought burkman lost his fight with Petz.

Burkman didn't do shit either. I don't know what crack he is smoking. That eye of the tiger he is trying to talk about is crap, only person who had that was the ref because he was moments away from beating the shit out of both of them LOL.

Burkman talks to much shit and can't back it up. His mouth writes checks his ass can't cash lol.

He should just let it go, go back to training and work harder.

Well, shit...if Burkman realized that HE was the better fighter, he should have turned on the afterburners and tried to blitz Swick.

Burkman is such an idiot. That was a horrible fight for both of them. The only difference is, Swick can be exciting. That was about all Burkman has to offer right there. I will agree with one thing, Burkman was better than Swick thought and I guarantee he felt really strong for a welter.

Yes throwing bullshit Taekwondo kicks then constantly rushing your opponent into the cage and not getting the take down then losing under hooks should equal a win in everyone's eyes.

If Swick wasn't in there to fight after the first, then Burkman must really suck...I mean if you are as bad as you say you are and you are fighting a guy that doesn't want to fight...shouldn't you be able to stop the fight? Of course he held on when Burkman grabbed him; its called "takedown defense." Swick was probably thinking, "Why does this idiot keep going for takedowns!!"

seriously i still havent watched that fight, and dont plan on it. how can this guy talk all the trash he does, not back it up, and still be allowed to fight in the UFC? it boggles my mind.

you know who he needs to rematch...Fickett. id put the house on Fickett in a rematch!

I'm starting to wonder if you're related to Fickett! lol. But yes, Burkman is a grade A douchebag -- no arguments.
