Ultimate Bust?
For those who think this is about Kendall Grove yes you are right. I wasn't really sold on Grove after the Ultimate Fighter show but the potential for him was good. But after two really bad showings by Grove, both ending in KO's is he the first big bust of the Ultimate Fighter show?
What's next for Grove now?

This is the same thing I was pondering because he did not look good against Cote and now Rivera. That is 2 losses via TKO in a row. He had a lot of hype behind him and potential but it is back to the drawing board for him now.

It seems he just is lacking the talent to step up to the next level, he will probably just kind of float around for the remainder of his tenure in the UFC and drop to some B-level promotion.

I am curious to see how he deals with it. Not only did he lost two in a row, but he lost them very badly in highlight reel fashion!!

I think if you're going to try to feed someone cans for wins, when fans already knew about him, he's not worth your time anyways. Their choice of "can" was horrible too. Kendall has a glass chin, mixed with Jorge's hands were a bad matchup to begin with. I had no idea why Kendall was a huge favourite. He was 8-4 coming in anyways, and Im pretty sure he was something like 5-3 coming onto the show. Yes, I think he was a bust, but personally I think he was a never was to begin with. That season produced a crop of fighters with little potential in my eyes. From Herman, to Bisping, Grove, Haynes. Shit who do you give the edge to? Kalib Starnes?

I really do not think that Kendall has a glass chin, he just likes to block punches with his face.
Seriously, someone with a good chin would have at least been rocked by some of those totally unblocked shots he took.
He just needs to learn to defend himself.

Whats next for Grove?
Fighting prelims and praying they dont give him a dangerous striker. Guy pretty much has a glass jaw.
I was sold on Grove as well after TUF. I thought with his size, some good cardio, and training from Tito hed be awesome, and a real force. Guess I was wrong. I hope he does well, but judging by his last 2 fights,I wont be betting on him anytime soon.

I thought Kendall looked good against Alan Belcher back in April, but obviously his last two performances have been subpar to say the least. His chin is definitely weak I think, have you guys seen his fight with Hector Ramirez from KOTC a few years ago? The fight latest like barely a minute and Grove was unconcious for awhile, and I mean awhile, there might have even been a stretcher involved.

I'm really pleased that he lost. The Team Dagger bullshit on the reality show was pretty terrible.
I hope I never have to see him fight in a PPV again.
