Grove has plenty of talent, probably more than most in the middleweight division.

Unfortunately for him, his chin doesn't.

it was so funny imo listening to joe rogan talk about Kendall during the fight...he was like "kendall is over his loss to patrick and i believe it's going to make him a stronger fighter", then he mentions nothing good of jorge rivera. When Jorge rocks him and takes him to the ground Joe was like "He's going to have to be carefull or he's going to get subbed, kendall has excellent subs from his guard."...Yet he fails to mention anything of How good of a fighter Jorge is from the top position...IDK i thought Joe seemed a little bias in this fight towards a TUF contender

you know what i kinda dont liek about this sport.. that people pretty much jump on the band wagon and after a fighter loses 1x or 2x's (especially when they are older) they always ask "whats next" ? You gotta imagine the training these guys put in... the dieting, the sacrifices.... we personally have no clue what they are going through in their personal life.

so he's lost 2 fights? i wouldn't call him a bust in the ufc bust..

Yeah he was the first bust but there will be more, if the UFC keep bringing in guys on the TUF show like they did with the last couple of season I dont see any of them becoming champs.

Ill always support team dagger hahahaa.

Although with this win Jorge Rivera has now officially the team dagger hunter. He beat both Solomon and kendall lol.

he's obviously good enough to get to the ufc so he's done something right. maybe he justs needs a new camp to take it to the next level.

One of his main problems, is that he doesn't fight like a big fighter. He should utilize his reach a lot more than he does.

There's so many factors that get added into the equation to explain why someone wins or loses a fight. But yes the band wagon mentality gets old fast and is unfortunately a part of the fan base at this point...

Kendall had a decent rise, he added strong conditioning to his game but he seemed to have some trouble making the best use of his size and reach in the Cote fight...

Not learning from that he was taken down and pressured hard early on vs. Jorge. Giving Kendall no room to work his size or reach was a terrific strategy and payed off for Rivera. But either Kendall was hurt or afraid of losing because he didn't seem to want to establish his ground game which I think is much better than Rivera's... sadly he just seemed to cover up instead of utilizing it...

Things to remember please:

Kendall is young and has a pretty good attitude about the sport whether you like him or not

He trains hard and conditions well

He's still a dangerous fighter on the ground

I think he does have a future in the UFC but right now he needs to find a way to make fighters fight his fight...
