why do people gotta hate on the Super Heavies? Just cuz someone weighs more than 265 does not mean they are a "freakshow". I do agree that starting a SHW division is not a good idea, there are simply not enough top notch fighter in that class. I wish Mark Hunt would make the 265 lbs limit. I want to see him back in action.

They have some guys that can make that weight, like Hunt, Sylvia, Lesnar, that new guy Carwin etc, i don't think there is much point in creating that division when they can make, and probably fight better, at hw though.

Think of all the lightweight talent out there and how long it took them to restart that division. I don't see there being a super-heavyweight division anytime in the foreseeable future. I fthey did it they would definitely have to adjust the HW div weight range to help accommodate it... they would knock down the limit to around 245.
I can see them adding the division to the WEC.

I also hope not. I don't care much about the HW and understand why WEC has none.

I would rather see them raise the limit of HW to 300. 206-300. or 205-unlimited. I'd like to see Bob Sapp, Hunt, Butterbean fight in the UFC. Won't happen though unless the limits are changed. Although HUnt could make the cut but from the sounds of it I don't think he wants to.

SHW is fondly referred to as a the "FreakShow Division" It would be hard to market considering the size of those guys almost all fights would go to decision.
Also that would allow some heavier guys that cut and get healthy for HW to just let themselves go
Choi fighting anyone makes me chuckle anywayz...
We are sooo much better off going lower them higher, ie.. Bantam and feather weights. Those make exciting fights.

Oh well.

that would be the best play for the division. Take some of the bigger guys and move them up. Sylvia especially, then he won't win fights based off of size advantage. I wouldn't cap super HW though.
