Yeah, I'm pretty sure the Cyborg vs. Shogun fight happened before he joined Chute Boxe... Cyborg trades with Shogun very quickly and effectively early in the fight, but seems to lose a step at some point while Shogun keeps wailing away.

Cyborg is a solid fighter with some good stand up. He needs to work on his submission defense though. Nakamura subbed him easily in his PRIDE debut.
If you want to see a sweet Cyborg fight, check out his match vs Melvin Manhoef at Cage Rage 15. It's quite the slug fest. Sorry I am too lazy to post it so look it up.
