Ken Shamrock vs. Robert Berry at Cage Rage 25
Quote:
UFC hall-of-famer Ken Shamrock (26-12-2), who recently inked a deal with Elite Xtreme Combat the same day his 19-year-old son Ryan signed, will take on Robert Berry (11-7) at Cage Rage 25 in March.
The announcement was made by Cage Rage at cagerage.tv. The U.K.-based fight promotion was recently acquired by Pro Elite, Inc., which is EliteXC’s parent company.
“EliteXC Presents: Cage Rage 25 — Bring It On!” takes place March 8 at Wembley Arena in London, England. The Shamrock-Berry fight will likely earn main-event status.
Berry, a seven-year professional, fights out of England and has spent most of his career with Cage Rage. Oddly, in 18 professional fights, only one — his very first fight — lasted more than one round. Seven of the heavyweight’s 11 victories have come via knockout.
Berry has lost three of his past four fights, and four of his past six.
Shamrock, one of the first inductees into the UFC Hall of Fame, has been fighting professionally for nearly 14 years and competed in the very first UFC event. The submission specialist left the UFC for six years but ultimately returned to fight nemesis Tito Ortiz and to coach a team on “The Ultimate Fighter 3” in 2006. He’s since severed ties with the UFC, and in an explosive interview with MMAjunkie.com (UFC News & Rumors - MMA News - UFC Fighters - UFC Event Recaps and Previews - MMAjunkie.com) back in October, he claimed that UFC President Dana White forced him into retirement and that he never intended to quit fighting.
Ryan Shamrock (1-0) is also slated to fight on the March 8 card, though the bantamweight’s opponent has not yet been named.

hopefully Ken will win because Berry lost four of his last six fights

Jeez, MMA should open a geriatric open-weight division.

I see no reason why Ken should lose this.
Especially because Ken should be at 100% right now. He told Bas he had a surgery that has made him be able to do stuff he hasn't been able to do for years.
This is an easy win for Ken.

The only reason hes been losing so many is because he's been facing good quality opponents. If he fought some of the bums like Frye fought Shamrock would have a way better record

I was looking over Robert Berry's record and he actually fought Dan Severn back in mid 2006. Severn submitted him via RNC in the first round. Ken has both lost and won against Severn via submission but take that as you will.
I cannot seem to find out how old Robert Berry is but I imagine he is younger than Ken which means he may be quicker but Ken should have the upperhand in experience on this one.

vice versa brah
and the TKO was BETWEEN rounds, Neil is a huge mofo and Berry was getting the best of him, just couldn't come back out for the second due to bad cardio
if Shammy tries to get the finish to early he could be in trouble, but as the fight goes on it definately favours him
