Old old news, but yes u heard right. I think this is a stupid decision by Pride, cuz Coleman is the type of fighter that will beat Fedor one day, and Pride definatley doesn't want that fighter to be the Hammer!!!
One of my friends just brought this to my attention. I think it's not so much of the competition as it is to appease american fans. I think the Japanese assume we are not too familier with all the foreign fighters. I'm saying this also because Kevin Randleman was just added to the card. I think they want to draw new american fans with former american champions.
Not to mention Coleman and Randleman might want to fight at home. it's probably a relief to finally come home to fight after all that time. Who knows, they may do better with the crowd behind them.
So far with Coleman VS Fedor and Shogun VS Kevin Randleman it seems like Pride wants some american blood in the PPV to intrest the american fight fans.
