Oh, come on Bas. Are you really going to bring up the ropes thing?
Seriously.... look, Fedor grabbed the rope, but Lindland was not going to win that match. There is also a thread floating around these parts where it not only shows Lindland grab the rope at one point, but also hit Fedor in the back of the head and spine area.
I agree with Bas 99%

I really think that Kimbo is probably getting the right training he needs and if Bas believes in him he may turn out to be pretty good (I know he wont trash his own fighter ar anything but..) and he will probably demolish Tank as long as he doesnt get caught with that huge right. But then again that is pretty much all you have to worry about when you fight Tank right?

Saying he needs to fight some higher ranked fighters and calling him overrated are 2 different things.

there's a big difference between calling Fedor overrated and saying "in order to keep his #1 ranking"

I agree. Is overranked a word?

LOL, yes
i wish the next question they'd have asked him would have been "Who is the best fighter in the world?"

Fedor could retire today and be considered one of the best MMA fighters to ever walk the earth. So my question is; Why is he still fighting, if he's not going to fight anyone who's even a moderate threat? Does he need the money? Somehow I doubt it. What he's doing now can only tarnish his legacy. There's no upside. Why do something that offers no advancement? I'm honestly confused by the whole thing. I on the other hand still believe he's the best p4p in the world. I believe he's proven it. I just don't understand the point of the fights he's taking now.

That's because he's not overrated jus "over ranked" like a couple of people before me have said. He is a great fighter but he needs to fight great fighters to hold that #1 ranking and that clearly isn't the case right now. I agree 100% with Bas, well said.
