If the UFC wanted to make a fight happen they would have.

i agree with the consensus here...Cro Cop and Vera have to be who they're talking about. maybe Kongo too, since he was injured after the Cro Cop fight.
but they could have offered him Mir, dunno why they wouldnt do that...maybe since the Athletic Commision wouldnt even sanction a fight with Sylvia?
was Nog injured at all after his fight with Herring???

Well i think base on their MMA records, Crocop lose two in a row and Arlovski won two in a row...like it or not Crocop/Vera would be huge and exciting to watch, and if Crocop lose again he can take a hike.  |

I can live with CroCop losing. I was never part of the lovefest around Mirko anyway, hah. He'll need someone like Andrei to get back any reputation. The Pittbull seems available. Ah, man. I just hope this thing happens.

If we base again in MMA records, i think the winner of Kongo/Hearing match would be Arlovski's next opponent.

Randy was out injured, with that broken arm. Maybe the UFC decided to offer Andrei a title shot after all, which he should have gotten after beating Werdum.
This is sad to read, for AA's sake. But I agree with Sundance...if the UFC wanted badly enough to get Arlovski into a fight, they'd be able to do it.

If we can take Dana's word for it, AA will be fighting in the next two or three months, so those two guys are out if the fight is now official. Depending on how long Vera is out with that broken hand, I'd say just about the only options for Arlovski are Cro Cop and the winner of Mir/Lesnar.

I agree CC and Vera sounds more realistic. Maybe AA and CC after CC wins a fight.
If CC loses, I wouldn't really say he is done unless he fights like he did against Kongo. (not to take anything from Kongo, I think he is underrated) But CC wasn't himself. But if he puts up a good fight and loses I think he would be back.
Maybe CC can give Eddie that rematch....

Considering Arlovski was supposed to get a title shot if he got past Werdum but it was then revoked by Dana..... this means that AA should only have to get through 1 more fight and then should get his title shot. If he does not then that is pretty much bull shit. Call me crazy, but I think somewhere down the line Sylvia and AA may have to mix it up again.
