I understand that you signed a two-year contract with UFC in October. Can you tell us anything about it?

Why would I want to? That's my business and none of yours.

Brock on wrestling Kurt Angle in an exhibition amateur wrestling match in 2002 and Kurt's MMA aspirations:
I understand that Kurt Angle challenged you to an amateur wrestling match shortly after your arrived in WWF/WWE. Is that true?

Yeah. I pinned him in 30 seconds and it was over.

You pinned him him? The story I heard was that he defeated you.

So you definitely beat Angle in that amateur wrestling match?

Yeah.

Kurt has talked endlessly about MMA since he left WWE in August 2006. But he hasn't actually done anything in the sport yet. Do you think he'll ever take a fight?

No. It's just a lot of talk. Kurt hasn't done any of the right things to make the transition. If all you're doing is talking, after a while, people don't really take you seriously anymore. As the old saying goes, actions speak louder than words.

So, you were never serious about going back to WWE?

(Vince and I) had some talks about it. But it was a one-sided conversation, and I wasn't comfortable about going back to work for him. So, I decided to continue to pursue the lawsuit.

Triple H needlessly buried you in an interview on the September 2, 2002 Raw, just moments after he had been presented with the newly-created World Title by Eric Bischoff. On that September 2 Raw broadcast, Triple H, who was a heel, said: "Brock Lesnar knows he doesn't belong in the same ring with me. Brock Lesnar knows that he can't with me in this ring. It did. You were a rising star at the time, and Triple H was the established star. His obnoxious speech did nothing to facilitate your growth.

Well, when you're (with) the boss' daughter, you can pretty much say what you want.

You had a few matches with Triple H on the road, but you never had a feud on TV.

I don't think he wanted to put me over -- so that never happened.

lol yeah i agree and I'm not sure how many different sides of the story we've heard on Brock vs Kurt in an amateur wrestling match. Most claim it was Angle that was victorious but now Brock says otherwise.

brock is a very very good wrestler, but angle was a freaking gold medalist. it sounds to me brock is just trying to piss of angle and maybe laying the ground work for a future fight

hes married to sable?? *shudders* she was really hot back when i watched it back in the day but she seemed like she has "been there done that" with most of the WWE... shes gotta be pretty old now to.. just not who i would have chosen to be my wife if i were Brock but i dont know how she is in real life so i will reserve complete judgement...

but i do think Brock has a good chance at beating Mir if he has been training well.. i think he is going to be too strong for Mir to catch him in a lot of subs because he will just muscle out..

in a year or two i could see him being up in the Heavyweight title discussion because he is just soo big and he has that wrestling pedigree but it depends on how he translates it into MMA.. he has to have a pretty good chin because of how strong his neck is by itself...

but all depends on his training so its just on of those things where you have to wait and see

I call bullshit on that. I've heard many different rumors over the years and it goes back and forth. As far as I'm concerend this is just one big "he said, she said" type of thing. There was also that rumor that Brock got pushed around (and or beat up) by Curt Henning on an plane ride years ago. There must have been some truth to that rumor since it got Henning fired from the WWE.

The guys a great wrestler and evreything but god he truley beleives his hype . I heard angle smoked him but hey kurt talks a lot of smack too so their lerning of eachother . Hopefuly mir will expose lesnar and send him back to wwe.

NAH, Perfect was acting like a jackass tryin to get Brock riled up so Brock tackled him and took him down into the door of the plane, yeah not the sharpest tool in the shed. But the guy is a beast and definately has that killer instinct. The only way someone beats Brock is if they take him apart standing up cause theres nobody thats gonna overpower him on the ground.

As for Brock/Angle, Ive heard stories sayin both guys won but if the fight happened tomorrow, Angle would get smashed. But Angle would work Shamrock so it all works out.

Wasn't Mr. Perfect dead before Brock ever started professional wrestling?
