On the last CFZ, I thought Josh defended himself pretty well against the steroids allegations. Do you believe him? If it’s true, it sucks that everyone still believes that he took steroids. At least with Marquardt, most people know he falsely tested positive.

Do you listen to him on CFZ? If not you can go back and download the mp3. I probably have to listen to it again, but he said he had a second Olympic level test done that showed he wasn’t on steroids. He also said that the steroid that they found in him stays in the system for something like a year or 10 years – I don’t remember.
He said that the UFC offered to renew his contract, but the money was a lot better elsewhere so he left.

I can certainly beleive that. Barnett is a class act (likes to talk lots of shit but lots of fighters do as ot gets them more involved for fights).
He said something along the lines of he made a lot more in 1 Pride fight than all of his UFC fights combined.
UFC is going to be FORCED to start bringing more to the MMA table, their cards suck compared to Pride and with the US Pride debut card, it is going to be a rude awakening for the UFC. If you want to compete with Pride in the US, you will have to step it up and a Bonnar vs Griffin co main event is not doing that.

yeah, i think i believe him. i gotta say i was shocked when i heard about bonnar though. he might be on a pretty shitty streaker, but i didn't see him as a roider. i hope its proven that it was just a crap test or something

Barnette's a stud. He has no reason to lie. His reputation was tarnished for a long time but his fighting has spoken for itself. He has a serious shot to win it all tonight.
