Let me give you my reasons, see I consider Fedor, Couture, Barnett, Nog the top 4 HW's.
Out of those 4 I believe Barnett could win all 3 and has beaten 2 so far.

Now I don't Believe Fedor can beat Barnett, Couture maybe, Nog yes.
Nog I Believe can beat Barnett, Couture maybe, Fedor no.
Couture can't beat Barnett, maybe Fedor, Nog.

This is why I consider Barnett the top HW, I like to see Barnett vs. Fedor even more than Couture vs. Fedor. Barnett never lost the UFC title.
