Exactly. He isnt one of the top paid fighters in the UFC because he dominates. He makes his money because every fight he is in is a huge draw and money maker due to his diarrhea of the mouth. All the smack and trash he talks makes everyone watch because we all want to see him get lit up. Smart move on his part....if you cant be the best, talk shit about them and make that paper. Would love to see Babalu snap his arm.

Madonna is a fraud and Rodman wasnt employing ANY tactics! Rodman was being HIMSELF Tito.. NO he puts on a show, hes a f'in circus clown, and hes being disrespectful and on top of that what he is saying is OBSURD! dont compare him to Rodman please.

I agree it sells but its still BS and I still dislike it but at the same time it makes it all the more sweeter when he gets his ass beat

Tito may be an asshole but the only times I remember him saying shit like this is usually before a fight with that person. Like a few others have said, its a smart move on his part. He earns more money for himself and he brings in more money and exposure for the organization. Dana may not like him that much anymore but I would bet he loves him as a promotional asset!

I feel like this is why he was brought back in the first place. He really hasnt looked all that impressive since coming back, but he's a "name" fighter, and he draws a crowd.
Tito is basically becoming the Mike Tyson of MMA. Kinda past his prime, but people are still going to pay to see him fight.

Yeah, imagine tito as being this super nice guy that every fighter just loves............? It wouldn't work for him. You're right, he's lost a few steps and he's not really impressive of late but he is bringing in more money than just about anybody. A super nice Tito would still bring in buys but not as much as the asshole Tito would. |
