Future of WFA
So will the WFA become the cheif rival of the UFC in America? I think there is a very good chance. Hopefully they will soon be able to match up with the UFC PPV vs PPV. Competition always makes things better for everyone.

i hope so but doubt it, theres no way they could continue with the way they have started paying fighters already, they will be broke sooner than later.

The WFA besides possibly going broke would have to draw a big name away from either UFC or PRIde and I am not talking about someone who was a big name five years ago. I mean someone like GSP, Penn, or Arlovski.

I dont care much for the WFA , I believe we should have one big org with all the fighters in it IMO, as for small shows sure WFA can be one of those..lol

MMA is exploding right now, and with Spike doing so well with the UFC and the WFA in discussions with different netoworks for tv time, I wouldn't count them out, If they get that TV deal than the money flows a little better. It was a start when Showtime aired the Countdown to King of the Streets. But it all depends on how good a business man Jeremy Lappen is.

if they keep the same commentors that they had at their last PPV then I wont watch it. Listening to those idiots was almost as painful as watching Bas land his kicks.

The only way WFA can become big time is if they can get on ESPN and that is the only way.

They'll have to do a better job of promoting and production. On the King Of The Streets PPV they announced their next event would be in October and they have yet to announce anything. I don't even think their website has changed since the last PPV.
I hope they get their shit together, because they definitely have some potential.

The WFA needs to stop paying all their fighters so much, and spend a little more on production value...it felt like i was watching local news, the production was so bad! and they need to establish a title or two IMO...
