If Shogun stays at Middleweight, his future is SCARY
Scary good. He's even more dominant than Wanderlei was at his age. I've never seen a young fighter dominate competition so badly before. The only one who comes close is Vitor Belfort.
Shogun has already beaten the top 205lbs in PRIDE. Alistar Overeen, Lil Nog, Cyborg, Rampage, and Arona. I have a feeling Shogun could probably beat Wanderlei too but I don't think that will ever happen as one of them will eventually make a permanant move to HeavyWeight.
Shogun is still in his mid 20's. If his arm healed correctly and he stays hungry and motivated, he can rule the Middleweight division for the next 10 years.

Little Nog vs Shogun was a great fight, certainly did not dominate that fight and the only reason he won that was due to all of the takedowns. It was impressive to see little Nog outstrike Shogun, really shows you how good the Nog's boxing skills are.
Little Nog vs Overeem was a really good fight as well.

Shogun is not dropping down to MW. His last fight against Coleman, He weighed 230. More than Mark Coleman. There is no way he is dropping. Maybe his fag brother "Ninja." He just got destroyed at MW by Dennis Kang in the opening round of the MW G.P. |
