Agreed, its was so frustrating to watch, that could have played a huge part in Hatton not getting his game plan going.

Cant take anything away from Floyd though, great fight.

imo its not fair to boxing to compare it to mma...mma is leaps and bounds more versital and fast pased and imo is leaps and bounds better then any boxing match ive ever seen...boxing to me is slow and boring...i watch boxing from time to time if its on espn and shit but i just cant get into it...especially knowing i have over 40 mma dvds in my room waiting to be rewatched....honestly ill watch any mma event ive seen 10 times over a boxing match ive never seen..

im not hating on boxing cuz its does take skill but its jsut not for me...

The only reason the boxing match was somewhat exciting to me is because it was really hyped up and I desperately wanted to see Mayweather lose. I don't watch much boxing, so I don't know how often the ref is suppose to seperate them and everything else, but I was instantly angered by the refs role in the fight. I just wanted to see two guys go in there and throw punches. It never happened and I was left bored once I realized that Hatton would unable to land much damage needed to end or win a fight.

For them quality of the names on the TUF card the fights were outstanding. The card was filled with submissions, a KO, and TKO. Only one fight on the entire card went to decision. I was far more impressed with TUF.

Haters! j/k

I didn't see TUF because I paid the $54 but I couldn't imagine that whole TUF card being more exciting than that one Boxing match.

PBF vs Hatton was the fight of the decade, the TUF finally, a bunch of newcomers trying to get their foot in the door.. No comparison IMO.

But I am just as big a Boxing fan as an MMA fan.

Now that I've seen the Hatton fight, I'd have to say that I enjoyed TUF more, but I was more into the boxing match. I personally didn't have a rooting interest with Hatton/ Mayweather, but I got into that fight. I wanted Guida to win. But more than anything, as with most MMA fights, all I want is a good contest and see some quality skills, but in boxing I want to the strategy play out round after round.

Anyone notice right after the Huerta fight was over the camera shows matt hughes watching the Mayweather fight in the crowd on a screen right next to the cage. I thought he was trying to watch the replay of the huerta fight, but then you can see dudes boxing, pretty funny.

I think the fact that this question was even raised in the MMA forum says a lot about the Hatton/Mayweather fight.
