At the time. Robbie Lawler was considered the "next big thing" in the WW division. The kid had great knockout power, and fantastic stand up. Then Nick Diaz, came along and embarrassed him.
Granted, after the fight with Diego, when he was talking shit. After just getting submitted. I thought Diaz was a bitch, but now in hindsight after his reaction after the Neer fight, I realize he was right.
He might not ever be the WW champion, but he will get into the top 5, maybe even 3 in the UFC.
