Hughes/GSP III: Hughes has got nothing for GSP. He can't strike, he's not going to sub him, and most likely is not going to outwrestle him or hold him down long enough to work some GNP.

GSP by TKO, R3.

Liddell/Silva: I'm going to go out on a limb and say Liddell take this. Silva's hungry, and probably the most dangerous striker that Liddell's ever faced, but he comes in swinging wild, and Chuck's an expert counter puncher. If Wandy's not careful, he could end up on the wrong end of one of those crazy looping punches.

Liddell by KO, R2

Soko/Machida: Hard to call this. Soko's going to push the pace like the animal that he is, which might play into Machida's hands; or it could prove too overwhelming even for him. I'm pulling for Soko, but gotta go with logistics on this one.

Machida via UD

Lister/Radev: Who gives a shit?

Lister by sub, R1

Manny/Mohr: In the long run, Manny's not going to do much in the LW division once he starts fighting guys in the top 10 or 15. Look for a move to 145 and the WEC.

Manny by TKO (gnp), R2

Guillard/Clementi: Rich is by far the more level-headed fighter, and I don't think he'll get caught up in all the bad blood enough to just go after Melvin, trying to knock him out. Melvin'll come out swinging, but if he doesn't tag Rich right off, the fight's going to the ground, where its all Rich.

A chance at the championship without beating one team inside the Top 25, that must be nice. And I hope you enjoyed the little run these past 7 years, it just seems like yesterday the shoe was on the other foot (Michigan winning 9 out of 11 but i'm sure you remember that). But my boys will be back next year, and continue to dominate the rivalry (still up by 18 games or so) and the Big Ten (OSU's first Rose Bowl in 22 years is coming this year).



Now my picks lol:

Chuck v Wand- Wand by TKO in the 2nd Round, a solid punch will lead to some brutal knees and Chuck loses 3 straight.

GSP v Hughes- I think Hughes has a much better chance than other people. GSP saying he'll be doing something special or whatever leads me to believe that he's gonna play into Hughes, like Hughes played into GSP in the 2nd fight. I'm still going w/ GSP by 3rd Round TKO.

Soko v Machida- Soko will be chasing Machida all over the cage, and i'm seeing Machida avoid Soko's power.. but never having control of the fight. Soko by UD.

Lister v Radev- I like seeing Lister's BJJ, and I think he'll pull something sweet on Radev in the 2nd Round.

Manny v Mohr- Manny will dominate this fight, but won't finish him. UD

Clementi v Guillard- A nice little grudge match, but I think Guillard is extremely overrated. He got dropped & tapped in a matter of seconds against Joe Daddy (never known for standup) while he was on the Rowder Powder, so I don't think he'll be any better here. Clementi by 2nd Round sub.

Oh come on now, Purdue, Wisonsin, Illinois, Penn State, and of course Michigan, were all ranked in the AP poll. And yes, I have enjoyed the last 7 years against Michigan very much, 6-1 is a good start for Tressell don't you think? I know Michigan is still winning the overall rivarly, but just like MMA, what have you done for me lately? And I see you live in Cincinnati, so why are you a Michigan fan if you don't mind me asking?

GSP/Hughes: GSP stoppage in rd 2 or 3. Gsp is too much for Hughes anymore.

Wandy/Chuck: Wandy TKO rd 1. Like Bullock said here, whoever connects first will KO the other. Chuck is slow and sloppy.

Sok/Machida: Sok tko rd 1 or 2. Machida will be running for his life.

Lister/Radev: Lister sub.

Manny/Mohr: Manny by UD. Manny will dominate this fight and control it but will not even hurt his opponent.

Clementi?Guillard: Guillard by TKO rd 2. Clementi doesn't have the strength to keep Guilaard down like Joe Daddy so Guillard will punish him. I see this fight going like Guillard/Cakezilla.

I think Soko is going to be a patient but his quickness and power will be too much for Machida. Without much tape to study, it's hard to gameplan for a guy like Soko.

I could be wrong but I don't know the other guy, Lister is a badass Mofo on the ground.

I hate Karo but I'm a fan of Manny, he reminds me of a 155lb Bob Sapp, just a little ball of muscle, a mean Armenian little ball of muscle.

Melvin by KO rd 2

I think Rich is gonna get his ass whooped, this one is personal, and Melvin is the more athletic, powerful fighter and Rich has lost to lesser competition. Plus Melvin killed Gabe with that gutshot, i wanna see that shit again!

Man I hope all the fights don't end in the 1st or 2nd round, that'd be a short ppv. I'd rather see GSP/Hughes go into the 3rd or 4th round with GSP holding that gold high.
