lol i was going to post this, then i figured everybody would just say wtf is shootboxing, but yeah Caesar Takeshi the guy who runs Shootboxing is really stepping things up in terms of making Shootboxing well known, and a part of that has been bringing in mma fighters to fight in some of these cards in shootboxing fights, if you guys know Matt Homnick from TKO or Antonio Carvalho from Shooto, both those guys had fights in Shootboxing pretty recentley and they both won.
Mach is a Shootboxer anyway so thats the reason he was brought in, but in fairness they wont be putting him in against Andy Souwer or anything as hes not on that level, but as a Shooboxing fan i think its great that they got him to take part and i hope he wins whatever fight he has. This is a Ground Zero event which means he could either be fighting under mma or shootboxing rules, it hasnt been confirmed yet as far as i know.
A heavyweight Chute Boxe fighter is going to be on the card too.

It would have been nice to see Mach in the UFC but I'll settle for this.

Yep pretty crazy as he is actually scheduled to fight in holland not long after that. Thats an insane amount of fights for such a short time if you consider that if he gets to the finals of the K-1 Max finals thats 3 fights, then this one 2 weeks later then another 2 weeks later in Holland, thats 5 fights in a month, i cant see how he wont suffer some kind of injury if he keeps that up.
In fact Albert Kraus who is also fighting in the K-1 Max finals will be fighting Kenichi Ogata the reigning S-Cup champ in this event.
This event will definately be aired on Tv , in Japan at least, as J-Sports have aired much worse cards than this
