Beating Silva
I have been thinking of this alot, as Rich is my favorite fighter. He is so much bigger and stronger then Silva. I think he must go Rampage on Silva and slam him as many time as he can on his head. I have seen Silva fight quite a few times and not once has he looked out of his element but I also have never seen anyone brutalize him and throw him around, slam him, nor take advantage of how thin he his. If Rich gets on top of him and slam punches into his ribcage and sternum, and gut, I think Silva will tire.
I do not see many people using body shots when they are on top. It does not take much if you hit a guy square in the gut for the guys legs to go and the guy to feel sick. Posture up and instead of hitting in the head, hit the guy in the stomach.

A Silva is much stronger than alot of people seem to give him credit for. Yeah, if you look at the 2 of them, you would assume Ace will throw him around like a rag doll.
As we saw in the first fight, that is not the case. Anderson is very strong, and uses his long limbs and leverage very well.
Also, Silva is very skilled in BJJ. His long limbs make him exceptionally difficult to deal with on the ground. He is great at controlling people from his guard. You dont see many guys able to pull off Seat-Belts in the UFC.
So what Im getting at, is that its not that easy, and that Silva has the advantage on the ground and would control Rich from the top, or from his guard.

Like most on here, I'm pulling for Franklin, but have to pick Silva. I've seen nothing to indicate that Silva is unstoppable for the time being.
But we'll see what Ace can do soon enough.

Wow dont think the article was long enough lol.
Anyways I am pulling for Rich but as a betting man I'd put my money on A Silva.

I honestly believe that if Rich had not have tried to clinch with Silva, he would still be the champ today. I'm really leaning towards Franklin KO'ing Silva. I really only have gut instinct to base that on, but it doesn't let me down (often).
The first fight didn't show us enough to really compared who is better of the two. yeah, Silva won in impressive fashion, but if Rich had connected with one of his opening shots it would most likely have gone the other way. Both fighters are exceptionally dangerous
Win, lose, or draw, I hope we get a good fight that tests both fights. I just want whoever wins to show they deserve it. Not that the first fight was a BS win or anything, Franklin got pwnt, but I wanna see who is the best when they both give it everything they've got.
