Why doesnt the UFC have a LW tourney because Sherk doesnt deserve a shot and Daddy Stevenson will kill any LW in the UFC.

Considering that Sherks only two MMA losses are against the current champ and #1 contender of a weight class above his ideal fighting weight, i think he's a decent choice to give title shot to. Stevenson is a great fighter but there is noone in the LW division that could make quick work of him.

I think Sherk's almost guaranteed the title unless BJ Penn drops down actually I hope he does Penn vs. Sherk would be amazing.

Penn vs Sherk would be an amazing fight. Can only hope BJ drops weight so we can see it. If he does, the UFC LW division would quickly become the most exciting to watch in my book by far.

sherk's the best LW there right now. florian and stevenson and hominick and edwards are all good, no doubt there, but i think sherk is gonna be champ for a while once he gets the belt
