UFC Changed Henderson's Nickname
Ok, I may be on crack or something, but I could have sworn Dan Henderson's nickname was "Hollywood" and not "Dangerous". But according to the UFC pages (event http://www.ufc.com/index.cfm?fa=even...htCard&eid=758 and fighter detail: http://www.ufc.com/index.cfm?fa=fighter.detail&pid=64) he is now Dangerous.
WTF? I liked Hollywood better. Maybe this is UFC's way of trying to make Henderson sound more bad ass?

Why would you assume that its the UFC that did this and not Hendo? I've always heard that Hendo didnt like the nickname "Hollywood" so I bet he changed it himself. I dont think that the UFC really cares what nicknames fighters give themselves.

yeah I really doubt that the UFC had anything to do with his nicknames. Personally I think they both suck. Dangerous Dan sounds like hes a boxer from 1950 or Mike Tyson's punchout. Hollywood Dan is even worse, and it seems like a rip from Hollywood Hogan. Im not hating, I like the guy but crappy nicks.

Yeah, but a nickname can still be ridiculous (i.e. The Flying Squirrel). "Dangerous" Dan Henderson makes me think of a 5 ft 110lb boxer

Or in the case of Tomas Drwal (undercard for this event) his is Travolta. Last card we had Batman, and this card we have The Joker also.

PRIDE gave him the Hollywood nickname and he said he was never crazy about it. Dangerous Dan has been used for quite a while, a lot of people will tell you that sometimes he shows up, and sometimes Decision Dan shows up instead. PRIDE also stuck him with the America's Best moniker for their USA shows.
