Default Ground Game Fan Appreciation Time
I just watched UFC 74 over again and I have to congratulate the UFC fans for taking a step in the right direction when watching these 2 fights:

Stevenson/Pelligrino
Crane/Huerta

These 2 fights showed a very high level of ground game and I rarely heard a boo, actually more cheers and awwws than boos.

Does any else agree?

I also think the level of ground fighters in the UFC is getting much better and I think we owe it to the Lightweights: Bj Penn, Tavares, Griffin, Edgar, Guida, Huerta, Crane, Thomas, Aurelio, Leonard Garcia ALL have some great ground submission skills.

The Las Vegas fans tend to be slightly better behaved than uneducated yahoos in Sacramento/London/wherever

That crowd was pretty good, i think the Irish crowd was alright too.

ground game is what makes mma amazing
we all can trow punches and kicks
we all can take some one down
but only a few can do a good ground game
i think the UFC fans are apreciating the sport noq, is not just the hype anymore, they now actually know what the fuck is going on in the fight
i hate when people booooo

Also, in my opinion most booing comes not during ground tactics (except LnP), but during stand up (non)-battles.

florian as well, give him some credit. but yes the crowd was great. i remember though that the houston crowd wasn't so hot. there were times during the huerta-garcia fight where the crowd was silent when it should have been roaring.
