Should Rashad drop to 185?

There's been rumblings around this forum since the Tito fight about Rashad possibly dropping to 185. I don't think we've heard anything mentioned by him or his camp about it, though.

I personally think he'd do well to drop. He did well against Tito, but he also looked small for a LHW, and also looked like he could still safely shed a few pounds.

I think there are great fights for him at MW: Okami, J-Mac, Terry Martin, and Bisping if he decides to come down as well, would all be stellar matchups.

Thoughts?

he said in a recent interview that he doesnt wanna have to cut weight to fight. he said its never completly out of question but he said he wants to stay at 205.

he also said if it came down to him and keith jardine having to fight, he would drop to 185

i dont think dana will make them fight. dana knows they wont.

but i dont remember him saying hed move to 185, i remember him saying hed go back up to hw.

let me rephrase my statement: rashad never said he would drop to 185 or go back up to hw. he said he would fight "at another weight class," and considering that he couldnt even beat tito, i HIGHLY doubt he would be stupid enough to go back up to hw. he would get DESTROYED

yep. hed get owned at hw.

but he did say hed go back up to hw[tho i dont beleive it]. dont remember the source

a sherdog interview maybe? i heard this from some video interview, whether it be sherdog or mmweekly...im not sure?

I think he would be a beast at 185 and could easily be a contender for the title. He has a style that would matchup good against A. Silva IMO.
