Valor Fighting and Management (VFM) is proud to announce that VFM has secured a booking for client Sylvester "The Predator" Terkay to perform at Antonio Inoki upcoming IGF event in Nagoya, Japan on September 8.

Terkay was a NCAA National Heavyweight Wrestling Champion while competing for North Carolina St. He also became a professional wrestling star in the US and Japan before making waves as a dominant fighter in K-1.

Terkay won his K-1 debut in just 13 seconds, knocking out Mauricio da Silva.

Other K-1 wins include victories over Choi Mu Bae and Kristof Midoux. The match with Josh "The Baby-Faced Assassin" Barnett who has wins over the likes of current UFC Heavyweight Champion Randy Couture, Dan "The Beast" Severn and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira should be very physical and entertaining.
They dont actually have a lot of info, or dont seem to make a big deal about Barnett fighting for the first time in a while in a non Pride ring, strange.
Hopefully this means he'll sign with with Heros soon, they would be on there way to a pretty damn good setup if they can add Barnett to there recent signings.

^^^^^^

lol i actually dont know, i know they're both wrestlers as well as fighters, but why would mma universe act as if it was no big deal if it was an mma fight, this makes me think its pro/catch wrestling or something, especially since its something to do with Inoki.

I hope it is, so he can get this pro wresting thing out of his system and sign with Heros lol

"Terkay had 78 pins during his college career. In 1993, his final college wrestling season, "The Bear" pinned every opponent in an average of just over a minute"

WOW...

I looked up the IGF and it is stands for Inoki Genome Federation, a pro wrestling company, so it would have to be some kind of special shoot match-up or something, then again maybe it is just pro wrestling.
Surprised at MMA Universe for being so vague in the report, especially when noody knows what the hell the IGF is, they'll just assume its an mma org.
