I'm just glad I will be able to see him fight again. Win or lose, Wanderlei hasn't shown me a boring fight in a long, long time. I'm gonna laugh if the middleweight and light heavy weight titles both end up being held by dudes named Silva, who specialize in muay thai.

I love how losing to two of the best guys in the world suddenly splits you into two seperate fighting entities.

This gives me mixed emotions. On one hand, I get to see Liddell/Silva or Ortiz/Silva or even (It's not so far fetched, and he asked for it back in '03) Randy/Silva.
Then there's the other hand: Wanderlei was always that exotic, non-UFC powerhouse that seemed like the antithesis of everything UFC stood for. He crossed weight-classes, he stomped heads, he soccer kicked. He was, for me, THE reason to watch Pride before CC and Fedor became the greats they are today.
Maybe I'm just ranting, but it truly is bittersweet for me. However, unless the cage derails him, I think we will see a rejuvenated Wanderlei. I just wish those top fighters would have had to come to HIS house.
Now, it's Shogun's turn to be the man. Let Wanderlei beat up on the leftovers and make a TON of money in the process. Shogun needs a belt and no way does Rampage, Liddell, Jardine, Ortiz, or anyone else in UFC beat him.

Anything can happen in a fight, ala GSP serra, CC/GG....I see shogun losing too, probably fairly soon. Hell give him a rematch with babalu, maybe renato will sub him...again

there is so much talent in the 205 lb divison even if liddell gets cut, or even beat there are so many huge money making fights it won't matter.
