damn guys if we wanna talk pathetic, let's touch on Dewees for a second. what a joke! the guy has made 185 many many times, and now he has a shot at becoming a champion...and he cant cut it. WTF man!!! Kerr is one thing, i dunno if that guy will ever be able to pull something good off ever again in fighting. his body is just too messed up from all the years of abuse he brought on it. but Dewees is still young and already screwing his career up...i could care less to ever see that guy in a ring/cage ever again.
and MONSONBYCHOKE, sorry to hear bout that shit man. just like i never got a chance to see Chris Benoit wrestle before his passing, i hope you get a chance to see Monson in action at some point!

That's what I thought when I heard this story. Dana has to hear stuff like this and, though he certainly considers the UFC as a significantly better org than these little orgs (and rightly so), stuff like this has to keep him awake at night.
The UFC is popular enough and entrenched enough now that it wouldn't be the end for them if something like this happened, but it would be a disaster.
