I will try and get as many pics as I can tonight ....Not sure how the seating will be but WAR MONSON......never seen this guy he is fighting, or at least i dont think i have Chris Guillen.....I will get the wide angle lense for BEAN.

Awesome, if you could take a couple brief notes on each (main card) fight and give us a recap, that would be appreciated too. I want to see how Kerr looks now.

You should tell them you are a contributor to MMANews.com, if there are pre/post press conferences maybe you can ask some questions.

My prediction, Butterbean by either flying triangle or go-go plata.

I hope of Kerr's sake he can pull off a victory tonight. Poor guy has gone through enough already.

My gf just called me from the fights and said its cancelled because the fighters didnt show up. Whats that about?

Dave Meltzer just reported the same thing. Said the show was cancelled one hour before it was scheduled to begin.

Global Fighting Championship Show For Tonight Canceled

From Dave Meltzer's WrestlingObserver.com website:

MMA show tonight headlined by pro wrestlers canceled at the last minute

The debut show of Wayne DeMilia's Global Fighting Championships scheduled for tonight at the Mohegan Sun Casino was canceled one hour before the 8 p.m. start time.

It was announced the show was canceled due to not having enough matches. Multiple fighters, including headliner Mark Kerr, failed to pass their medical testing yesterday and at last minute, the promotion was unable to get replacements.

Kerr was scheduled to face Sean O'Haire in the main event. It had been rumored Kerr was nearly 300 pounds going into the fight. His weight yesterday at weigh-ins was 289.5 pounds, and after weigh-ins, he was not allowed to fight due to high blood pressure.

Edwin Dewees, who had to cut significant weight because he came in heavy, after cutting, failed to pass his testing as well believed to be from high blood pressure. Dewees weighed 193 pounds for a fight contracted at 185, and was given two hours to make weight. He came less than a pound from making it.
