Hughes Talks Moving to Middleweight (again).

I personally like Matt Hughes and he has shown to be one of the best champions without a doubt in any weight class in any organization in MMA. The thing about Matt Hughes is he mostly wins his fights by being the stronger,better conditioned guy in the octagon. Which isnt a terrible thing its like in the mid to late 80s how Mike Tyson would dominate his competition by being the bigger puncher. I just really havent seen Matt Hughes in a fight where he wasnt the stronger guy so I wouldnt know how he would handle being in there with somebody who is and I could see that happening quite a bit at the elite level of 185lbs and from what I have seen of Matt Hughes I dont know if he has enough other tools to be able to overcome that so I think him going to 185 would be a bad idea for him.

I wouldn't be surprised if Hughes wanted to flee the WW division, because he knows he cannot beat GSP, whom he will eventually fight again. Just like Couture not being able to beat Liddel, and then moving to HW to better be able to compete.
