Well, I guess it's about time I somehow introduced myself here. I'm 26 years old, married with a kid on the way, trying to get a job as a sheet-metal worker here in Sweden at the moment. I've been a fan of this sport for a while now, and although I'm a newbie on this message board I am no newbie to the sport (even though I'm not as knowledgeable as many others here).

Thanks.
Well, we have to learn English in school already from the third grade (at least when I went to third grade), so it's not that strange that we have a bit better English than other countries that doesn't teach you English like that, i.e. France. But thanks anyway!

Yeah, I thought it was from the 5th grade. I'm a big hockey fan (obviously, I'm Canadian) and I heard Mats Sundin say that Swedes speak such good english because they learn it from (I thought he said the 5th grade), but apparently the 3rd grade.

Hello everyone,
I've started following MMA (mainly PRIDE and UFC) a while ago and recently came across these boards.
So I thought it would be nice to leave a small introduction! I'm a 20y old student from The Netherlands. I don't perform myself but I'm active in multiple sports and self defence (Krav Maga). Would like to take MMA lessons but unfortunately there aren't many schools in NL (yet). It's mainly kickboxing and muay thai.
Well I'll be hanging around here, you ppl seem to know a lot about the sport so I can learn a lot

Me...
My names Bollman, I'm from the midwest (America). I'm 35. Watched most of the early UFC's, been watchin Pride and UFC closely for about 2 years or so. I usually get a chunk of my MMA news from this site. I don't have anyone to talk MMA with around here so I decided to sign up on the forum. Don't compete myself but have alway been into individual sports and really get into the strategies of self defense and the world of MMA. That's about it for now. See you in the chat rooms.

hello everyone. Just found this site yesterday, was some very good reading. Little background info on me. I am in the Army, been in about 16 years. Just got stationed in Georgia. Always been into fighting and watching fights (frikin barbarian). Trained in kickboxing, bjj, judo, and army combatives. Anywho, that is a little about me.

Hello
Hi everyone, My name is adam and I live in south australia. We dont get much MMA over here but it is slowly taking over(Thankgod).
I like UFC the best and love all weight classes. Favourite fighters in each would be in order, (I know im asking for some shit here!)
Tim Silvia, Chuck Liddell, Rich Franklin, George St Pierre, Jens Pulver.
I follow the sport pretty closely and hope to bring some good topics aswell.
