great question, but I have one. One style as we are now? or starting off since childhood? if we could go back of course. One would be working with the skill set we alreaddy have, one would be starting off fresh with nothing.

i am not familiar with some of the art forms out there such as kung fu, sambo, VT, etc. but i guess my opinion would be that muay thai kickboxing would be one of the deadliest styles, plus stand up is fun to watch. then again that is why i love mma because it isn't focused on one particular form of martial arts.

Muay thai...you've got greater odds of winning the fight on your feet (assuming you've got a decent takedown defense), IMO

So how is Vale Tudo and Shoot Fighting on there? They all mean the same thing just different names.

In fact Vale Tudo translates into "What Works", if I'm not mistaken and just means MMA.
