Any info on Kid Yamamoto?

i heard that he was in aka training mma again on sherdog but just wanted to see if anyone else had heard anything? i really hope this dude isn't about to fight in the wec man... i kinda think its beneath him to be honest.. its like rampage fighting for the king of the cage promotion.. doesn't make sense to downgrade like that when you're at the top of your career.

I know he was training for olympics, but dislocated his elbow in a match, and that killed his olympic dreams i believe.

I saw pictures of him at AKA, he is indeed training there now and planning to return to MMA, but thats all I've heard at this point. I'd assume he's still under contract to K-1.

kid is 1 of my top favorites and i hope to see him fight soon but he hurt himself in a qualfying wrestling match for the olympics idk if he is still tryna pursue that or come back to mma and if he does come back hes fighting in k-1... k-1 keeps his pockets fat
