Default How Would You Rate UFC 72

With all the anti-hype for this card w/ everyone calling it the worst in UFC history, I wanted to know what everyone is thinking now.

How would you rate UFC 72?

For a PPV: 3/10
On SPIKE: 10/10

That $40 bucks should be reserved for title fights only.

Id give it a B-

First three fights were very good with both fighters trying to finish the fight at all times. The Ramirez vs Forrest fight dissapointed alot thought. ALot of people think the Franklin/Okami fight was boring but I actually Liked it. IMO this UFC was better then most

Yeah, I thought the Franklin fight was good.

Especially when you compare it to Okami's other wins in the UFC. Franklin pretty much neutralized him until the 3rd. Okami looked awesome in the 3rd, but he does in all his fights, lol.

A rematch would be interesting; especially if Okami came to fight like he did in the final round.

It wasn't worth paying for, but I knew that before it happened. It was a week card with week match ups, but you just don't buy those PPVs if you feel that way.

comparing to some of the other events, i'd give it a C maybe a C+.

it's wasn't bad, the main event killed it.

I watched it at a local bar for free, but the only exciting fights were the first few ones. You can find exciting fights anywhere, which is why I hate when people say that the card is worth 40$ because the undercards may be good. True, they may be good, but not for 40$. I can turn on ym TV and see exciting up and comers fight on IFL or Bodog for free. A 40$ PPV needs a Big headliner, a great co-main event and at least 1 good match up, the rest of the card can be whatever. This card lacked all those.

Yeah, it's better just to watch Noob's stream if you can.

I didn't pay for the fights either; I would have, but I thought Dish Network was going to have the UFC playing all day so I went to order it at like 6:00pm and was severely disapointed to find out that the next showing was going to be on Mon morning....

I'd say for a ppv it was about 5/10...

For Spike it was definitely 10/10

I thought the card went better than expected.

The Jmac fight was better than I thought it would be; I thought it was going to go to dec so I was pleasantly surprised by the way he was able to finish Rory.

Guida got robbed, plain and simple. But it was a damn good fight.

Marcus Davis looked good. He is a very exciting fighter b/c he is constantly improving. Hopefully we get to see him face some decent competition... Maybe the winner of Fickett vs Lytle?

Did anyone think Forrest looked like he was trying to mimick Lyoto?

Franklin fought a good fight; he basically neutralized Okami until the third rd. He looked better against Yushin than anyone else he has fought in the UFC. I think I am not alone when I say that a rematch where Okami shows up to fight would be very intriguing. It seemed like Okami didn't like Franklin's punching power, so he was just laying back.
