Don't forget to keep in mind that boxing tickets also tend to be more expensive than UFC tickets though. That also figures into the gate equation.

Ok well 15,672 attended the Bhop fight, 13,590 attended the Winky fight, highest attendance for a UFC fight according to NSAC is 13,055 people

I'm still trying to figure out what the gate numbers have to do with mainstream interest and determining the next "super fight" in boxing?

Thats a bit dishonest though. Hopkins was fighting De La Hoya so there is not need argue which fighter was the draw there, and Winky was fighting Trinidad in only his second fight out of retirement. Neither have proved to be a big draw themselves.
