Well, if Byrd's back, I'd like to see him fight Brock for a title shot, or at least in a fight to establish themselves in the HW pecking order. May not be the most exciting fight, but apart from Byrd and Klitschko, Brock is the most technically sound real contender in the HW division, and any sort of meaningful fight at HW is a good idea. It'd be an excellent undercard fight for any PPV.

Byrd vs Brock would be a really good fight. I dont see anyone getting knocked out in that fight but it would be a very tech fight.

Byrd is pretty slick, aint no doubt about that, but Brock has Pernell Witaker as a trainer so I think anything less than a Klits can't beat him. Not to mention Brock has crazy one punch power and Byrd isn't immune to KOs, but less face it, Byrd aint Knocking out any world class fighter, he's a beefed up LHW IMO.

I think if Brock keeps lunging at his opponents its gonna be a problem, especially if he fights a finese skilled boxer like Byrd who will counter him all night.. I like Brock but hes gotta quit lunging, he aint RJJ.

Brock and Byrd have gotta be at least in the IBF top 5 right now, if not 1 and 2. Byrd was the champ before Klitschko beat him, and Brock ended up getting a deserved mandatory shot. Granted, neither should fight Klitschko again, seeing as how he overwhelmed both of them, but either Byrd or Brock would be good opponents for Chagaev, Briggs, or even for Peter when he knocks out Maskaev.
