Just watched the fight tonight - Couldn't afford the purchase price, and had to avoid all boxing media outlets for the past week or so.

What fight? All I saw was Diaz getting pounded for 9 rounds. At no point was Diaz in that fight. He got outclassed in every, single, aspect of boxing. Every single one. He was...So fuckin' slow compared to Manny. Like, emberassingly slow, I thought. Maybe he himself isn't slow, but Manny made him for a fuckin' turtle or something.

I hope, somehow, they make the Hatton fight happen. I think it'd be a repeat performance for Manny.

Hatton is much too big for Pacman. Don't get me wrong, I think Pacman is a better fighter but that size, reach, and in your face style would be trouble for Pacman. Not to mention it will be hard for him to carry his power 3 weight classes higher.

Yeah, a guy like Hatton would be, bar none, the most difficult of Pac's career. It's not even the size and strength that Hatton has, but the guy moves pretty well considering he'd be so much bigger than Pac. I'm not terribly excited about it, seeing as how there are bad ass fights to be made at lightweight for Pac, but any way you slice it, it's really a win/win for Pac. He loses to Hatton, and he just loses to a great boxer who was much bigger than him at a weight class to much. The loss really wouldn't hurt his legacy or anything. But if he wins, Manny Pacquiao starts breating that rarified air reserved for the likes of Roberto Duran, Henry Armstrong, and Sugar Ray Robinson. Titles from flyweight to super lightweight/jr. welterweight, are you kidding?
