Great fight, Oscar looked sharp even though it seemed he slowed down a little to me. Still think he has a good chance of beating PBF.

Forbes had his moments with his quickness, but DLH had that nice jab and controlled the fight the whole time.

I agree that he has a chance to beat Floyd. I think it will take a ref that will work a little differently than last time.

Forbes was just too outgunned. I like to watch him throw punches, they just need to do a little more damage. I didnt care too much for the showboating he did.

DLH showed me nothing, he has no chance against floyd, PBF will destroy him, bring DLH on, PBF his gonna whipe his ass with dlh's face.

i dont see DLH beating PBF but nothing's impossible. As long as he BOXES pbf and doesnt just swing on him, he should be alright. seems like DLH forgot how to jab in the first fight with pbf

DLH gassed out the first time he fought Mayweather, that's why he lost. He was making it look easy when he was landing his jab almost at will during the middle rounds. Though it's the most basic punch in the boxing arsenal, ironically, it's also the hardest to adapt to when you're on the receiving end.

I dunno, Oscar's gonna have his work cut out for him even more this time around. I want him to win bad, but on the other side, I really didn't want to see this fight again. He's still got a lot more things to work on, even though he did look good this past weekend. We'll see, stranger things have happened, and at the very least Oscar does have a puncher's chance.

If he does beat Mayweather though, Oscar's been talking about fighting Cotto (provided he beats Margarito in July) for his last fight in December. Oscar would have to completely turn back the hands of time to beat Mayweather; he would have little left against Cotto, but even knowing that, do you have any idea how bad that would make Mayweather look. A young, prime p4p champ ducks Cotto, but aging, set-to-retire legend wants the fight....interesting.

I don't know what to think about this whole thing. All I know is that I'm not buying the PPV and I'm reluctant to even watch it. The whole thing stinks of greed. And this is coming from a lifelong DLH fan who badly wants him to shitkick Mayweather somehow.

Your right. I didn't want to see this fight either. It's not like it was a slug fest ala Barerra vs Morales which is entertaining. It was a very slow technical fight in which I can't really see DLH winning because PBF never opens himself up.

Promoters just want to generate that kind of fight buzz and draw again. What they are too stupid to realize is a fight with Cotto would probably even beat PBF vs DLH's record. But you know the saying in hollywood, if something works, stick with it.

It's a really cynical fight that's being made for the sake of lining both men's pockets. I blame Mayweather more for this fight, but Oscar's to blame for eventually agreeing to this rematch in the first place. He's complicit in placing Mayweather into an overhyped limelight that he's only barely begun to earn considering his only good wins of recent have been a faded Oscar and a game but overmatched Hatton. Eventually, the people will catch onto Mayweather's game and turn against him, the same way they caught onto Tito Ortiz for ducking Chuck Liddell all those years. Oscar could have, and should have, used his clout to shame Mayweather into fighting Cotto or Margarito by stepping away from him.

I dunno though, maybe Oscar really is fighting for pride, maybe he really does believe he can beat Mayweather this time around, maybe he was truly dissatisfied with his performance and that he's busting his ass even more to not gas out and fight the fight of his life with whatever he has left. Somehow though, I don't think that's the case.

This fucking PPV better be loaded to the damn gills with quality fights. I want the winner of the Juan Diaz/Joel Casamayor fight against Nate Campbell for the undisputed lightweight championship. I want Jorge Linares unifying his title with one of the other titlists at featherweight. I want Victor Ortiz getting his title shot against a Junior Witter or the winner of the Holt/Torres rematch. Simply put, the damn card needs to be fucking loaded to wipe away the cynical greed and disdain for us boxing fans.
