I didnt like this fight as much as the rest of you it seems. I thought I would like it, but I found it incredibly boring. I hate one punch and grab the other guy fights. I dont care how good of a defensive wizard Hopkins is, that shit is just plain boring. Had I paid for that fight I would have been pissed off.
I think Calzhage should go back down in weight. He looked weak and many of his punches were slapping punches. Had he punched like that against Jeff Lacy, Lacy's face wouldnt have been busted up. Maybe that first counter that put him down made him scared to commit.
If I were a new fight fan and saw this fight for boxing and the Starnes fight for mma this weekend, I believe I would have to find a more exciting way to spend my time. Like watching lawn bowling.
