Default Alfonso Gomez Vs. Miguel Cotto

I assume this fight is still taking place on the 12th of next month?(April)

I really hope Gomez win, as he is my favorite boxer.

Sorry to say, but Gomez is going to get killed. He's no where near the skill level of Cotto. accually he doesn't even deserve a title shot. I think this may be a tune up for Cotto.

I self admittedly am not a huge follower of boxing.

Any idea of the odds out on this event?

How big of an underdog is my boy?

He should be a big underdog.

Cotto is just that much better.

Gomez is fun to watch, but its going to be fun to watch Cotto make him his bitch.

Outside of a miracle from god, Gomez imo stands no chance.

I don't see this going to the cards, if it does, i expect to see one hell of a lopsided score.

But i just see Cotto beating him so badly his corner has to stop the fight or the ref stops it.

Cotto gets stronger as fights go on, he can take a punch, he has heart and speed. Not to mention he has some power in his hands.

There is a reason Cotto is 31-0 he is good.

Cotto has faced, stronger, bigger, faster, more technical boxers, boxers with more power and beaten them all. I just don't see how Gomez stands any kind of chance.

I also like to watch Gomez fight, but I dont think that he's going to be too fun to watch in this one.
Cotto will make him look really bad I think.
I would love to see Gomez pull something off, I just dont see how he can. I dont think that he does anything better than Cotto.
I dont really understand this fight anymore than Oscar/Forbes. I do like both Forbes and Gomez and Im glad they might make a little money. I just dont think they will be competitive.

Here's the odds:

WBA Welterweight Title - Saturday 12th, April (10 pm EST) @ Boardwalk Hall, Atlantic City, New Jersey, United States Odds
Both boxers must answer opening bell for wager to have action.
Miguel Angel Cotto -1000
Alfonso Gomez +575

Edit: I have no idea what this means.

I actually think the Kermit Cintron/Antonio Margarito co-main event on this card is more interesting and could be a better fight.

It means gomez is a huge dog in this fight.

That's some harsh odds!

Yea you have to bet 1000 on Cotto to win 100.

You win 575 for every 100 you bet on Gomez
