Cows in the feedlots have a hell of a lot less choice than the animals I hunt. The animals I hunt can get away..and do more often than not. I havent seen any escaped cows (not for long anyway) cruising the backwoods when Im out there.

Using animals for food and clothing are kind of a necessity. Hunting is perfectly fine by me as long as you use what you kill....just dont put the deer in a cage and force them to fight to the death...

Well, I would agree with you that putting animals in a cage and having them fight each other for your enjoyment is isnt right. I doubt many would do it (or not nearly as many) if it were not for the gambling involved.

I get where your coming from but if your breeding dogs to fight other dogs or any animal period that just wrong. Yes people fight but they can choose when they've had enough. Dogs cant do that, they have to fight till death or until someone seperates them.

My bouvier, in my avatar. Is not the badest dog in the park. But he is up there. And he wont take shit if another dog leans on him. He has a meen streak when it comes to those situations and goes way over the top, when he goes off. He is NOT playing around, his play fighting is,just that,playfull and happy. Some other dog owners have said "let them work it out" In most cases that will work. But, with two evenly sized dogs it can go bad fast, and Bart acts like he wants to kill them sometimes. Wont stop when they give up etc. Its ugly and not something that I would want to watch. Even if hes the one kicking ass. My point I guess, is yeah most dogs can work it out and not go too far. Other more high preformance dogs like pits, shepards,masstiffs, have such a high potential too do real damage, real fast. And just should not be handled in the way RJJ said. That being said, his dogs might be perfecty safe fighting with eachother. I dont know. All I know is I dont want my dog involved in the kind of violence that I have seen from Bart and other fierce dogs. Any dog that can whip Bart or just not get mauled, I dont want him scappin with....lol My baby could get hurt, and I meen badly. Anybody that has seen a real knock down dragout bloody dogfight on the street knows what I'm talking about. I have been around big dogs all my life so I know. I also have been rushed to the hospital from a bite recieved from a Irish Setter. I was trying to get the Lab that had him by the throat, to let go. They have really long fangs...lol ouch!

On the side I think hunting is a good thing if you eat it way better than factory farm raised animal consumption. On that note if anyone thinks fighting dogs on purpose for personal enjoyment is OK they should be ass raped for as long as they let the dogs fight. Why because they have no say in the matter of an incident where physical harm WILL be applied to them. Eye for an eye, Tooth for a tooth.

You know, I saw Roy Jones Jr. on Friday Night Fights last week. I'm an athiest so his constantly bringing up God was...Well, it was what it was, so that's neither here nor there. I'm no preacher, so to each his own - Whatever.

But, officially, fuck you RJJ - I'm glad you're a has been. So much for being a god fearing man or wherever the hell his beliefs fall under that make him think this kind of shit is ok. If you read the article, he says he doesn't let them fight to the death because he can't take that. Just 5, 10, 15 minutes of what I'm sure Jesus would let slide.
