All the best Boxers in the world didn't sit there and go blow for blow. Sugar Ray Lenard, Sugar Ray Robinson, Lenard, Whitaker, Roy Jones, and most P4P best ever became that way by sticking and moving and being defensive first fighters. Hard to win a fight when you get KO'd.

Look at Roy Jones. He doesn't have a chin, but no one knew he didn't in his prime because he never got hit and was universely recognized as one of the P4P best ever before his first loss.

Exactly, good fighters are elusive fighters. Not ALL the time but the very upper echelon of p4p kings were always very good and smart fighters who didn't just stand and brawl gatti style.

I am not fond of Mayweather, but give credit where credit is do. This guy is well above everyone else in the weight classes. Cotto is a tough guy just as Hatton, and he will pressure Mayweather just as Hatton. However Cotto is sloppy in his defense as shown in his fights of getting hit a lot. He will not beat Mayweather any time soon. The only person I see giving Mayweather a problem is Williams. And that is only because of his height. But I still don't think Williams is accurate enough to beat Mayweather. Everytime someone figths Mayweather, people post all this stuff, he is going to get beat or Ko'd. Then the fighter looses and everyone jumps up and says the next fighter in line to fight is going to beat him. As it stands he is probably going to retire undefeated. Most of us will probably be old by the time this guy looses.

Now tell me, how was I spewing BS by saying SSM or Cotto can't beat PBF? Is SSM not getting older? Also didn't SSM come up from LW also? He's not faster or more skilled than PBF and his defense is not quite as good either. That's a fair assumption IMO.

Cotto, though stronger, definitely isn't on PBF's level stylistically wise. He's pretty quick but not as quick as PBF is, and if DLH or Hatton couldn't get a good shot on PBF, Cotto isn't. Not while PBF is still in his prime. And like I said, Cotto has been dropped before with a flush shot; PBF only lands flush.

I was only wrong about 1 thing, Hatton being tailor made for PBF. It was a tough fight but Hatton is one dimesional and doesn't have very good defense he just applies more pressure than I've seen from any fighter.

Ya, and you know damn well who I would of picked had PBF been training the usual amount of time a boxer should train for a fight.. but you said it wouldnt matter cuz PBF would dominate Hatton.. which was bullshit.. PBF didnt dominate Hatton.. he did however prove that he is a great boxer cuz he beat a P4P great with pratically a month of training.. that was very impressive, but the fight went nothing like you said it would or I said it would outside of you choosing the right winner.. which is 50/50 anyways.

Other then that, your using really childish arguments like ohhh if SSM cant beat Vernon Forrest then he'll never beat PBF.. that makes no sense wheres the reasoning behind that? comments like that are a disgrace to boxing.

Lol, the fight went damn near exactly like I said it would. It was a little tougher than I expected because of the pressure but Hatton never landed a good shot and missed most of his punches. Not only that, but I called a KO, who would have expected that? The only way Hatton could have won was from pressure.

I actually think that think that statement makes alot sense. SSM has had problems with great defensive fighters like Vernon and Winky, and I don't see him solving the riddle fighting the p4p king. Floyd is certainly a better defensive fighter than Forrest and is easily on par with Winky.

And I'm sorry, SSM's game isn't at the level it was when he fought those two fighters. That being said, SSM wouldn't beat Floyd.
