HBO Pavlik vs. Taylor LIVE STREAM + DISCUSSION
Alright time to make predictions.
I'll say Taylor via UD. I think Taylor uses speed and his jab to keep Pavlik off of him while landing the bigger shots. I know a lot of people don't like Taylor, but he makes it very difficult for any fighter to look good against him. Depending on how aggressive Pavlik is, I could see Taylor getting the knockout around the 8th or 9th round. I just dont think he has the experience needed to beat Taylor.

I don't know while I am pulling for Taylor I am not sure how he will stand up to Pavlik's power shots. Pavlik is going to continuously come forward and he is going to throw power shots after power shots. Yes Taylor faced constant pressure before against Kasim but Ouma was completly wild with his pressure. Pavlik is going to bring constant disciplined pressure and accurate power shots. Should be a good fight though. Taylor has been begging for someone to stand and fight with him and now he will get his wish.

Imo Pavlick is a much more exciting fighter, but Taylor is the better fighter. Pavlick can throw some nasty power shots, but I don't think he has what it takes to put Jermaine on the mat for a 10 count. I think Taylor fights a smart fight and wins the split decision.

I'm pulling for Pavlik here, by close decision that could probably go either way. As much power as either guy has, especially Pavlik, I just don't think either of them will get stopped unless its by a cut. There could be a knockdown, and I'm thinking that Pavlik will be the first to put Taylor on the canvas. He certainly has the power to do so, and at the same time, Pavlik has proven to have the beard to deal with great power, as shown in the Miranda fight.
But yeah, should be a close fight, in the end decided by who's more active and who shows more gumption to win and try to finish the fight.

Wow! Say what you want, but Taylor has beaten the best. No surprise with that Knock down. Pavlic has a hell of a chin.,
