Anderson Silva, all of his fights were dominant, nothing went to a decision, he showed a great deal of respect to his oppoents (except Lutter because Lutter couldn't make weight) and he showboated on Franklin by dropping his hands completely and slipping a flurry of punches and kicks by Franklin.
Not exactly someone you should be dropping your hands against and invitign them to throw strikes at you, Anderson is one of the only, if not the only person in MMA who can do this (Machida would probabaly be able to slip strikes very well too).

I agree with this statement as to "WHY" Anderson "should" be the fan favorite but fact of the matter is that he has had a struggle with gaining a massive fan base in the states. It has got a lot better for him however since his first fight with Franklin when they were booing him. Now fans have really warmed up a lot to him which is great.

Well, I guess everyone disagrees at some point...although I guess I do agree: All the things he had done, as opposed to all the things he's doing [and not doing] right now.

Randy beating Tim and GG was exciting, and if he hadn't punked out and given the UFC yet another interim title, I'd probably vote for him. But I feel he's disrespecting some great HW fighters, and setting a terrible example by not fulfilling his contract.

I understand the whole Fedor/UFC contract situation sucks. People don't always see eye-to-eye, and they can always agree to disagree and walk away. But Randy holding out, faxing in his resume, etc...

I feel his negative behavior far outweighs the good he did this year. And it's unfortunate, because I like Randy...if he was an asshole, I could write him off as an asshole just being an asshole. But the fact that it came from nowhere made it worse for me.

I picked Quinton he's just a great fighter and a stand up guy. I just think that he's a great face for the sport and is a down to earth guy.
